About me

Jack Greenslade is a pianist, composer and teacher based in London. Rooted in jazz but open to a wide range of influences, his music brings together lyricism, spontaneity and a contemporary edge, with touches of pop, folk and soul. Whether performing solo, leading a group or collaborating with others, he aims to create music that is thoughtful, characterful and alive in the moment.

He studied at University of Manchester, graduating with a BMus in Music, before completing an MMus in Jazz Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He has appeared at venues including The Savoy, Crazy Coqs, The Vortex Jazz Club and The Lexington.

As a teacher, Jack works with students of all levels, encouraging strong fundamentals, curiosity and individuality. Alongside teaching, he performs regularly and continues to develop original projects as a writer and bandleader.
